Road of Shadows Under the moonlights shadow a young man stood cold. His cigarette a beacon in the night. He breathed out letting the smoke become his halo. A flicker of shadows his lover stands. A brief kiss passes between a fleeting moment. She's gone a memory upon his lips. Longing, lust, love, written on his heart. Pain reflecting in his eyes. The beacon dims and dies beneath the weight. Taking steps he starts to go. Walking on he continues down his road of shadows.
